On Wednesday afternoon about 3PM, A fire box was dispatched to Box 44-14 for a heavy black smoke coming from a dwelling at 17104 Evna road. Upon arrival of engine 442 they found a small single story structure with heavy fire involvement. No one was injured in the fire but some pets are still missing.Units were out about 4 hours to control the fire. Units from Hereford Fire, Butler, Parkton, Cockeysville, and Hampstead were on the first alarm. Units from other stations were called in to assist such as Arcadia and MD Line and other companies were moved into the area to fill the vacant stations. Reisterstown E412 was called in to use their specialized foam pump to extinguish some areas that were smoldering and crews were unable to get to for safety reasons.
